Freshman and JV playing time will be distributed as evenly as possible over the first 5 innings, if it’s a close game after 5 innings the coach or coaches can utilize any lineup they feel gives the team the best chance at success.Playing time can vary game to game at the coaches’ discretion.Playing time is earned in practice, level of play in scrimmages, level of play in games, and through the use of statistical analysis.Encourage athletes to speak to the coach if an issue arises regarding playing time.Be attentive to coaching, hard work, push yourself, encourage others, become a team.Help to foster attitudes and habits that are most conducive to positive participation.
